Situated in the the heart of the Creuse in the beautiful Limousin countryside, the 50 acre site is set within a large loop of the river Taurion. The mature parkland was created in the 1870s together with avenues of oak and lime trees. The parkland extends to meadows and beautiful mature woodland on the slopes down to the river. Visitors are free to explore the extensive park, woodland and river walks. On the map the locality is called Les Chambons which translates as 'The Beautiful Place'.

We offer Bed & Breakfast in luxury suites in the Chateau and high quality self catering gites within the Chateau grounds. We have complimentary wireless internet access (WiFi) available.

Chateau de Memanat has been awarded a 4 wheat-ear rating by Gites de France, the highest possible rating for Chambres d'Hotes accommodation.
